Made For Thee

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Thursday, 11th April 2019 @ 02:53:39 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Hit or miss
Was your wish
So easy in your eyes
Was I to dismiss
Then fate came around
And I became your new wish
I asked not why
Willing to forget and forgive
To live and let live
To just be, hoped you`d see
Things aren`t always meant to be
Sometimes they aren`t what we see
Little did you know
It was little ole me
The one who God made especially for thee

A tale of soul mates by a dedicated romantic poet.
James, your writing is becoming more enjoyable every day.
I like the subtle message that although we find our perfect match...our perfect match may not find us perfect!
Love is chancy. But we keep on trying!!

/ This is great!!

/I`ve often pondered if some people are custom made for other people. Just a thought.

I thought someone was custom made for me but apparently Cupid is an idiot and didn`t hit her with the same arrow.

All the years on the job, I guess he`s bound to make mistakes but why me???!!!

He needs to offer antidote.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
