dEaTH StanDing

Topic: spiritual

If I knew what I have always known all along I would be all knowing which I am not and yet I am both
gifted and forever curse

If I could see what I have already seen I would be all seeing which I am not and yet I am for now
If I could feel what I have already felt I would be all ecstatic, bewitched and affectionate which I am now
If I could smell what I have already smell before so long ago I would be all belligerent and disgusted which I am now
If I could hear what I have already heard many time before I would be both enlighten and disturbed which I am now

If I could see over the horizon and around the curve I would be a living God which I am not yet I am for now
If could sense all others thoughts and feeling I would be extremely sensitive and crazy which I cam not and yet Iím usually thought of as so
If I could have faith in God the almighty in the tiniest amount of a mustard seed I could move mountains and create a new beginning for myself and others which I currently do not have evidently; I tried and fail and yet I one day hope to evolve into such a being that I am currently not worthy of possessing
If I could ascend towards the Heavens within my dreams like Jesus did so long ago I would become immortal once more and would never return to this Earthly place now that I refer to as shelter forest among all the sinners and the few remaining saints.

Death really is only the beginning and the end as well

this is so thoughtful, it sends a spiritual chill
why are the things so great, the people so good to others
first before themselves as individuals.
Who am I often confused, almost feeling the now
as if only a blurrrrr reacting only later entrenched in such a gift.
You are hitting me directly, and my every experience directly, whether it is good or bad.
I too often feel the things I can/'/t change are the imperative like a useless cad while missing the things I can and should do.
Your poem here is so well said, it is virtuous and righteous

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
