Coming Home

Contributed by Voice of the silent on Sunday, 30th August 2020 @ 04:29:51 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Dark thoughts through the mind.
A constant for me at all times.

It/'/s been a lifetime since I/'/ve written a line.
Just never seemed to have the energy or time.

A different man, a different life.
I think I/'/m finally home.
No more alone.
I/'/ve got a family of my own.

So though the dark thoughts are here to stay.
My family is my oasis my sunshine.
Keeps the darkness at bay.

I wrote a few poems on why people go away from here and you validated it. Great write and my questions have been answered. Don/'/t feel bad about any of it. Through no fault of my own my whole life has been turned upside down and I ain/'/t no spring chicken no more. I like many have to start all over again.

I really liked all the stanzas and if this is real to life....
Great for you! You survived and will go on. Many don/'/t. God bless.

Love this! I feel very much the same. I was here 10-14 years ago under a different account and just started writing again. It/'/s good to see that writers still have a home here. Welcome back!
