You gave my mind
Some time to rest in a world unkind
Your presence made me smile
Your visits made my living worth the while
We got acquainted you seemed like a friend
Then you were taken and it looked like the end
Thought I/'/d lost you
Wanted you to come back and start anew
Days passed with no sign of you
Then you appeared all beat up off the blue
Wishing to help you be I tried all I can
But on that fateful dawn was a re-broken man
I get hurt before the old wounds get a chance to heal
I/'/ve caused pain to many and I know just what to feel
The level on the sorrow scale can bring you tears or serenity
I/'/m sorry, couldn/'/t keep you Miss Kitty
