Out In The Rain

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Sunday, 15th November 2020 @ 03:41:21 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

When I was in pain
You left me out in the rain
I never complained as I assumed you were insane
As the water trickled down into the flames
No one was the blame, you claimed
With you, my heart and soul were restrained.
Just a game you played
A victim you portrayed
Now I only look for sunny days
As I like it better that way
