I Am Nobody
Living life in reverse
trying to escape the hurt
with the loss of my equilibrium
I have no control
no rhythm
I have become absurd
A broken dream is my landscape
in the village of the void
I pace as I fade
a terrible lie was once told
and for ever it broke my poor heart
There was a time
when Illusions ruled
and I was thinking that maybe
just maybe
caressing my crucifix would do,
cracked and fractured
slowly
I became undone
I was unaware of what I have become
dazed and confused I no longer sleep
it was to late when I realized
the exorcism was incomplete
Buried alive
this talking head babbles no more
with eyes wide open I am in a box
in these manic times
death has a romantic allure,
I scratch at the lid
my fingers they bleed
resistance is futile
it is gonna be what it will be
when I am here
what I need is over there
what I am doing here
is never clear
and it is never ending,
I have gone mad
I no longer care
about anything
On the dust ward
that is where I can be found
just
looking around....
I am nobody.
