Hot Fudge Sundaes for Everyone
There are the same old peace talks
But soldiers are still dying today;
Summit talks--to war they walk
Maybe leaders lead us the wrong way.
Talk to your neighbor, find a stranger,
Maybe we have an answer:
Hot fudge sundaes for everyone!
Ice cream, fudge and a few sweet toppings,
We/'/re gonna sit down and talk
Without any bombs dropping.
It/'/s gonna take a single mom, a Grandpa and a student,
It/'/s gonna take a professor (like the one on Gilligan’s Island)
A forty-something and a tow truck driver
To move this movement.
It/'/s gonna take a unified voice calling out to the higher ups
From us lower downs
To say hey, listen, we just might have an answer
To turn this world around:
Hot fudge sundaes for everyone!
Ice cream, fudge and a few sweet toppings,
We/'/re gonna sit down and talk
Without any bombs dropping.
