Have it YOUR way
The contest was on, in the first room he found;
Two long earred rabbits hopping around.
He chased and he scurried but caught none at all;
Both got away through a hole in the wall.
The next room had ten rabbits all in a row;
He tried running faster to catch one although;
He counted seven and then only four;
They all disappeared thru a hole in the floor.
He pushed at that hole and he strugged and squeezed;
Trying to get to them, down on his knees.
Alas, he got stuck and had to be saved;
And won no awards at the fair on that day.
The winner he heard hadn’t chased them at all;
But merely sat down with his back to the wall.
And grabbed every rabbit as they hopped about;
Blocking the hole so they couldn’t get out.
Follow the recipe of a mistake;
And were bound to end up with the same kind of cake.
Do it your own way;
You know what they say;
At least if we lose;
It wont be the same way!
