White Hat Syndrome
Virtues are a hinderance that slow us down like glue. What pray tell me has a virtue ever done for you?
Lets take trust for instance; have we not been cheated? Left with broken hearts and our bank accounts depleted?
Imagine if we gave up faith; big business I hear tell; What could we do if we all knew we couldnt go to Hell?
Charity will get your pay, but cant buy self respect; The more we give, the more it takes; the more that they expect.
Over-rated virtues lead us all astray! We share and care, to who knows where and give our gifts away!
Were we to dare to keep our share, and do whats best for us; Would we succeed on selfish greed achieving what we lust?
Or else be mediocre, common men until we die;
I know what we will answer;
But be damned if I know why.
