Boyfriends Lament
Life’s not fair; this can’t be right!
You can’t just throw me out tonight!
What about your credit cards:
You want them back? Are you sure?
Where will I go? How will I live?
What happened to forget, forgive?
Where will I stay, my credit sucks.
Im starting to feel sick..
Can I have a couple bucks;
While I think of it?
Can I take the clothes you bought?
You’ll miss me in the sack.
How will I pay these bills I owe?
Til you come crawling back?
On my own, I have no dough;
I don’t know how to cook!
I gave up everything you know.
I should write a book!
Heres the housekey; heres the fob;
I suppose I’ll need a job.
Heres your phone; Have you a buck?
My girlfriends here to pick me up.
You’ll be sorry wait and see.
Dont you want to marry me?
Youre too old to be engaged;
I need a woman half your age.
I’m not going to change my mind;
I wont be coming back.
Before you throw me out tonight;
Youd better think of that.
You’ve gone crazy, let me guess.
Maybe it is PMS.
Here I go now; out the door;
One last chance for you before....
(Hallaluya! Slam the door!).
