Step Back
Whats the point of trying to really get clean
When after you do it you get wrongly accused of worse things
Telling yourself you have nothing to prove
But sadness takes over when they say your destin to loose
Its like none understands how they intrude our subconscious mind
Teaching us to want to lie and spitefully justify
Our minds are very powerful and controlled by words
They effects us good but effect us the worse when they hurt
Your suppose to think before you speak but when is that ever applied
Especially when the things some people say hit the deepest hurts and make you cry
If i let you gain that much power over me
I really don/'/t understand why
But even if you were my best friend
I/'/m cutting you out of my life
Because thru everything i gave your words meaning
I cant let you break what i/'/ve struggled to fix
because unlike you I wont tell you something if i didn/'/t think about it
so if you cant help and say things that are positive
You are no longer in my life or my prerogative
