BUild tHAt wALl !!!
A composition of prose
The consortium arose
Clapped and cheered
Took a deep breath
Then listened carefully to the question posed
To what do we owe
This honor
To whom are we sold
Why have we let down our armor
And left our bodies fully exposed
Naked
Awakened
While the battle wages fiercely
self admonishment grows
When can we forgive ourselves
for things we can no longer control
A God of the gaps
Explores the existential trap
Fine tuning the cosmos
Sending a charge through the synapse
An evolutionary relapse
A regression
A suggestion
Back to the basics
while keeping the core thesis intact
If the seam should snap
The societal fabric and its antithetical warriors will surely attack
Your freedom to think
Has freely been snatched
All your belongings meticulously packed
While your eyes were closed
The theft of your soul
Was extorted
Manipulated
Desecrated
Then handed right back
Enjoy
What will you do
With your redemption
An exemption
From
Depression
A second chance
Will you impart wisdom
Pass judgement
Or enjoy the slow dance
Will you dip your feet in the ocean
Wave your fingers through the endless sand
Come to a resolution
A realization
That you are human
You are worthy
Of life
Of love
Of sex
Of happiness
Without which
You might as well be dead
Enjoy
