My Irresponsibility on The 4th of July
I/'/m in the hospital because of what happened on the 4th of July.
I was very irresponsible with fireworks and I/'/m lucky I didn/'/t die.
When I lit a bottlerocket, it flew up my nose.
But that wasn/'/t as bad as losing all of my fingers and toes.
I held five M-80s in each hand and put five on both of my feet.
When they exploded, I thought God was somebody who I/'/d meet.
I didn/'/t argue when my best friend decided to rush me to the ER.
He/'/s threatening to sue because my blood ruined the interior of his car.
When I got to the hospital, the doctors and nurses laughed.
They said they couldn/'/t believe that a man could be so daft.
Now I/'/m lying in a hospital bed and I have no toes, fingers or thumbs.
If you ever use fireworks, don/'/t do what I did because it was very dumb.
