The devil made me do it
Men see no need for God
He sees no need of salvation
For he only sees the veil of lies over his eyes.
For he sees his own goodness and righteousness,
Which is like, a filthy sack of cloths in the eyes of God.
They say the devil made me do it!
See no evil in their actions.
Though with the same tongue they deny the existence of God.
If you are wise and have ears to hear and eyes to see, then listen; hear and see
For the wisdom of God declares,
“You foolish men; you do not need the devil to sin,
You don’t need the devil to commit murder,
To commit adultery in your hearts
You don’t need the devil to commit all sorts of wicked acts.
From the abundance of your heart you act on it and your mouth speaks on it.
You don’t see that you are wicked, because you live in darkness.
Yea, you reject the only light of this world that came for His namesake
And for saving humanity from themselves,
For it is His nature to save, to love and to forgive.
He who speak of their own goodness does not see their need for God
For they are blinded by the gods of this world,
For the wicked hearts of men whisper in his ears,
You are a good person, and are deceived.
How can you be saved when you see no transgression or shame in you?
Humanity have transgress and used the name of God in vain,
The house of His people lost and wanders after the images of their own hearts desires,
You lost sheep, hear the voice of the good shepherd
And not lean on the goodness of a man for there is no such goodness in him.”
The modern men do not see evil as it is,
Nor acknowledge where evil comes from,
For it is written that it comes from the hearts of every men and women.
How many more must die, did communism or Nazism appear all of a sudden?
Or did it come from the very corrupt intellect of man, and from their hearts.
And knowing this, why did they listen and gave ears to such atrocities.
They listen and acted because a man wants excuses for their evil
And blames anyone or anything but themselves for they say they are good, which is a lie.
“He who cannot see the condition of their own hearts cannot be saved,
Least they try to save themselves for the fires of God’s wrath,
And men toils in vain for their own righteousness,
Forgetting that the knowledge of goodness, love, compassion
And righteousness comes for the Father and not in men,
And is shown fully through His beloved Son”.
You don’t need the devil or a criminal to teach you to be evil.
You need His gospel; you need God to change the nature of men to the nature of God.
“But the devil made me do it.
I acted in such a way, because the devil made me do it.
I am good, I was not myself,
For the devil made me do it.”
“They will not see the need of a savior,
If they only see the goodness of men,
And not see what God sees in him?
That is a criminal, an adulterer at heart, a liar, a thief, a murderer, a blasphemer
Unrighteous, unholy, filthy, naked, lost, prideful
And children of disobedience who plays God,
Let them save themselves then.
For if there is no God there is no salvation,
If there is no God there is no goodness,
If there is no God there is no compassion,
No caring or sympathy, nor light, nor truth, no hope and no forgiveness.
Man my say the devil made me sin, which is a lie.
But man may never realize that;
Without God there is no such thing as goodness or love in men.
You may not need the devil to sin, but you need God to save you from yourself.”
