The night I knew I loved him.
I can tell you the moment I fell in love;
Exactly, precisely, recalled.
It was Saturday night; our first date,
Yes, youre right;
The shortest courtship of all!
He was ten minutes late; but his driving was straight;
Til a rabbit jumped into the road.
He came to a stop, til the rabbit could hop;
Back to its forest abode.
But that wasn’t why I fell for the guy;
It was one word that made him my honey:
My heart went astray; I recall to this day;
When he called that rabbit a bunny.
