Indigo Nights pt 2
The light came back and saved my soul
Soon did I forget my woes
It lifted me up and held my hand
Made sure I wouldn/'/t wobble so I could stand
This light, it whisked back into my life
Took away the pain and all the strife
All the tears were wiped off my cheeks
The silent agony was gone in weeks
Many told me that I was strong
But, I just believed that they were wrong
Until I could stand on my own to feet
I portrayed myself as too weak,
Too betrayed and hurt to sit and talk,
Too ugly to even bare to walk,
Until one day the light saved me
Held my hand and let me see
That I deserve to be free
