They all check out. Theyre true without doubt. And we pulled out all of the weeds.

This sentence reads forward and back. It’s called an emordnilap.
The words are dispersed, read the same when reversed:
“First ladies rule the State,
and state the rule: ladies first.”

A natural blond, who knows why,
his whole life his hair was dyed.
He was born an identical twin, whose brother didnt survive.
Elvis Presley was called the king. He was idolized.

Serena trusts to luck they report.
Watch when she’s out on the court.
She bounces the ball five times.
She believes it keeps luck on her side.

Decca Records gave unknowns fame.
And they are usually on top of their game.
But in hindsight, they blew it all right.
They turned down the Beatles....(twice).

The 1912 scenes from Titanic,
lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes.
The same time we think,
that the ship took to sink.
Proof that inflation has hit? the film cost more than the ship.

Alaska’s the only state we know,
whose letters are on the same row.
Should there be doubts,
type the other states out.
Promise you’ll let me know.

Wayne Allurine, was Disney’s choice
as Mickey Mouse/'/s voice.
He wed Russi Taylor. She won his favor,
as the voice of Minnie of course.

Bill Murray was jailed when O’Hare
didnt like his joking bomb scare.
No bomb, just a gag,
but the weed in his bags
sent him to jail, then and there.

Before she was known by her fans,
she squirted a patron with jam.
Dunkin Donuts sacked her.
Now she’s an actor.
Madonna exchanged jam for ham.

Ford’s assembly line rendered him harm.
He was struck by a robotic arm.
Robert Williams is billed
as the first human killed
by robot who meant him no harm.

Jockey Frank Hayes the news said,
crossed Belmonts finish line dead.
He died half way through, and nobody knew.
A heart attack the autopsy said.

Very few folks know this well.
If you check out the Liberty Bell.
Its engraved Pennsylvania, but to our shame,
the name of the state is misspelled.

Ten thousand bucks, in one bill,
was in circulation until,
the mint changed their mind in ‘69.
Too hard to make change from the till.

Michael Jordan’s endorsement deal nets,
more than NIKE/'/s own workers get.
Michael get more
than NIKE pays for
all their factory workers, net.

Michael Jackson’s life story earned class,
reviewed by a world-famous lass.
For those who have read it,
the credit for edits
was Jaqueline Kennedy Onasis.

In 1980 they tell,
Pablo Escabar’s Medallion cartel,
every month spent two grand
to wrap rubber bands
round the money that came in pell mell.

If we start at the outside on top,
of a Tootsie Roll lollipop,
Through the candy that’s slick,
‘til the center of it, takes 142 licks!

The facemask in “Halloween”
that made every audience scream,
was a likeness that worked,
of Captain James Kirk, painted white!
Good night and sweet dreams. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 74 [topic] => 21 [informant] => softerware [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Please note in the NOTES textbox below that this poem has been edited, do not put your name, please put as the following:
<!--EDITED by moderators on (Date) for (reasons).-->
DO NOT remove the line break ( <br /> ) html coding at the end of each line break, these are needed to form the correct lines.
THE CHEATIf you do not wish to delete a poem, or a certain part of a poem, and instead would like to send the url to Mick via PM for confirmation, enclose the entire poem (or part/s thereof) between <!--    and     --> (ie. <!--    POEM TEXT HERE     -->).
