Your Window's Wide Open

Your windows wide open And I pray that a breeze finds its way inside There it resides, hiding but mystified by your crying As am I Caught between your breath, a stream Faithfully concedes a path to your shape unseen The light inquiringly beams, as if to question your means Though I, I find the answers belie A false sensitivity masked by security Docilely complied for too long intuitively You must escape eternity, wretched eternity Only a deity must suffer this absurdity Down the short-but-sweet path go I
So stop your crying, death defying, and immortality vying Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride
