A photo of memories Protocol of strict smiles of two elderlys Both head full of white streaks Like lightning through the night sky Both faces shine aglowing Like they knew something we do not Hand in hand Like they were best friends but they are not How do I know? It is not Captured in that moment of bliss It is not Told to me by somebody But my dear the eyes The eyes they tell something of hatred of betrayal of personal aggrandizement What do you say? still picture perfect?
