Wet Dreams

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Wednesday, 8th January 2003 @ 07:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

My four children although they are small
They live in their swimmers out in the pool
Every spare minute that they can get
they now spend it, SPLASH, getting wet

As soon as they get home from school
all they want is to be really cool
so it's into the water they will go
and believe me, WOW they are not slow

When they start to look like my dear ol dad
with wrinkles even on the littlest lad
(notice I didn't say "like their father" dear
but believe me, I am getting near...)
they still stay in that water so cold
despite the sky now turning to gold

As it gets dark, and the sky loses its hue
and I have four littlies with lips turning blue
it's to the hot showers to warm up their crust
then to the table, for now food is a must

I'm sure if they could, I know where they'd be
as soon as they have finished their tea
but it is now late and this mean dad says not yet
so they're off to their beds to dream of the wet
.
.
.
oops if my dad reads this
well what can I say
hey you're mentioned within
that'll make your day...lol
