Can't wait to log on and scour this site
to read some new work and probably write,
Amazed at how well so many express
feelings of love, life and sometimes distress,
So many emotions expressed in these pages,
Sometimes I sit and just read for ages
Getting to know so many through verse,
And from their comments and PM's of course,
Though slow for a while...and sometimes not there,
This site I can count on to stir up some cheer
Finally this site seems to have returned from the dead,
Now I can browse without banging my head.

Lol....A well written poem of the lives of so many YPDCians.... After 5 years and over 450 poems..I am still hooked on this site...and even now when I'm supposed to be reading a report for school...I find myself reading poetry instead...
I have made so many friends here... but I don't think I've ever written about it so nicely..

Nice Wiz!! I think it's fair to say we can ALL relate to this...I know I can!! Great job with this. It had a good flow, and some humorous lines that gave me a laugh!

Its like making a new family yet .......it isnt...but is. I like this site, and would not betrayal...........met alot and have ahd a sweet and plesant comments here. Some more.and yet far............would love to see some of the poets behind the writes.............

| the fourth and fifth stanza dont rhyme, and this seems to be a rhyme formatted piece. the last stanza seems forced in rhyme. this reminds me of my younger days here, i dont really feel that way too often anymore, but you brought it back to life, =] i loved your first three stanzas, because those remind me of the old days quite a bit. |

Thanks for the explanation ... but I don't think I would have needed
it ... just for the simple reason that you have a flair for expressing
emotion with amazing clarity!
Fun and creative write, dearest wiz. I love stanza's 2 and 3 and how
well I relate. This conjured up a smile, you know. Thanks for that
... you ARE a wizard. lol
Wonderful work, but something I have begun to expect ...
( no pressure though ... lol )

Lol, Wiz, thanks so much for the poetic *smiles* my dear friend. I have been here @YPDC for a couple of years now and I have seen many poets come and go and those that are still around. I love it here @YPDC for through this wonderful site I have made many friends. Each poet has their unique way of writing and each poet is special in their own little ways. You are one poet who always leaves me inspired and wanting to read & write more~ So here's to all those poetry junkies out there I raise a glass to ya all~ An awesome post Wiz.
