Maybe

Topic: oops

The answer is yes or no, but why say maybe?
Its a common choice we use, just to be lazy,
Or maybe were just shady,
And cant gather up the might,
To make a decision and choose the answer thats right,
Yet, the answer thats right could also be wrong,
And maybe the other option was good all along,
Instead, we use maybe? when we simply dont know,
Half yes and half no, it can be used on the go,
Or maybe as an excuse to run and hide,
When its too hard to decide,
And our minds are not bonafide,
Leaving our conscience in a state of anxiety,
Delaying a response by avoiding the question entirely,
We use the word maybe? like its a guarantee,
Though deep inside youre really not free,
From the question at hand because you dont understand,
A yes is a yes and a no is a no,
But a maybe? could just drive you crazy,
Maybe........
