From my heart and soul
Where all my loving feelings are consoled
Allowing me to experience our love unfold
When I gaze up at the heavens and stars
I try to locate Saturn, Jupiter and Mars
I realize it would not be joyous for me
If I weren't grounded in love on earth with thee
For it is our universal connection with each other
That makes us matter as lovers
You make my heart blissful, and enlighten everything
Our special bond makes our hearts want to sing
Your touch, look or expression you so willing share
Those haphazard affectionate things that demonstrate we care
For everything filtered through love has a special glow
That makes twenty-three glorious years so meaningful to know
Then it dawned on me with pen in hand
To create a loving verse that would withstand
The test of time my contribution demands
So any gift with which I may be blessed, is at your command
I AM A LUCKY MAN

wonderful verse I very much appreciate your love for your wife. I have written similar verses for my fiancee to be married in September this year. even before marriage we had understood each other. although its arranged from parents on either side but our`s will defenitely be a love marriage. thanks for sharing. read my poem "You are only for me"if you don`t take time to read other verses.
