Icy fingers close around my heart
Trying to fight it my mind struggles
My hands shake as the pain washes over me
All thoughts are gone as the world fades
Fear comes behind my eyes
My body gives out
Fire burns through my veins
I am lost, this abyss surrounds me
Its darkness folds me into its embrace
All sense of time and reality is gone
And I become the slightest whisper of a memory
A shadow on your life that is soon forgotten
