walking the street alone in the dark
searching for a place mabey a park
or down this dark alley where the smell is just thick
of drugs and cheap booze that will make me feel sick
walking around in this pouring rain
feeling alone surrounded by pain
junkies and hookers my only friends
alone on the streets at age of ten
beaten and stabed all in two years
i had no heart to hurt i felt no tears
now in my thirties i look back and cry
im amazed i didnt get shot and die
but because of my youth the anger still grows
of the ignorance in this world and the hate that we show
i was kicked and made fun of for begging in the streets
just because i lived on my feet
well this is my soal i tell you it all
now you see why i hide behind this wall

Oh how sad...I am so sorry. I can not even imagine what it would be like to not have a home.
