The world is growing colder
Constantly staying the same
No one knows where theyre going
Yet of where theyve been, theyre ashamed
No matter how many are arrested
Its still a world of crime
And for fellow fallen comrades
We just dont seem to have the time
More and more people are falling
Into the worldly ways
Way of evil, torture, and sin
Doubling the numbers by day
Common phrases that float around
We all know they are lies
Yet we try to ignore that fact
Along with the taken innocent lives
The faith is dwindling
Along with all hope
Everyones coming up with
Personal ways to cope
As the world around me
Is in the midst of insanity
I try to keep my distance
I understand were all just searching
For something to believe
