New shoes
Sparkling like diamonds
Holding my feet like best friends
Shimmering, glimmering, simmering
As I walk this brick path
With abundant flowers applauding me
And the setting sun, like a caregiver, leading the way
To my love...standing erect, luminous and ready
To take me to dinner... reservations at first twinkle
But to first kiss me against a mighty tree
Talking to me in words that run up and down my spine
Divulging my lack of will power
Losing our reservations

I like this poem, but I would really like it more if u extend it a bit. You've got what it takes and I know u have it in u.
Otherwise a pleasant and enjoyable write.
