it's time i put the phone down and not kill myself in the process. i only spilled my drink a little. on the front of her new dress. a little white lace, and a fringe of black and gold. and a stain as big as my fist, in the middle on the fold. i only smiled as you yelled. confused by the depth of all that you held. i only wish i could tell you, that shes perfect in every way. pretty and so damn bright. glamorous and giving. healthy and honest. and a little bit decieving. shes tossed you and turned you and you never said it was quite right. but you never got to get away quickly. she'll stroke your face, and sit you upright, pour it down your throat, and as you lay down, with your hands at your side. she sings to you, a daughter of a gold digger and a sister of a siren. blessed be all her rights, and you never stopped her. every day she kills a little piece of you.. until tonight.

Great! Very detailed and really gave me a sense that something was happening that I needed to be a part of (ie. read more). |
