we swap our hospital stories
i'm dead inside and dying
you're drunk and out of your mind
why do you keep on denying
you can't save me like you used to
you're worse than ever before
i can't reach in and pull you ashore
we're swimming to the bottom
grasping at weight
hoping to drown
we know it's our fate
we sink we try
we sink we'll die
we sink yeah we'll sink
just give us time
i'm dead inside and dying
you're drunk and out of your mind
so why are you still denying
we'll drown
we all drown in due time
