There once was a girl Who lived in a house of locks But, no keys She was always alone And always asleep But once day her dreams ceased to come And her eyes began to open And she realized That she was lost With no dreams to guide her And no doors could be opened She was trapped On her own In her own Creations

I like the abstractness of this poem. The idea that the girl was trapped by the own creations of her mind is unusual. I've never seen anything like this. I like the way you think. Keep posting! |
