Why must these things
Always happen to me
Why do my dreams
Never leave me happy
Why must the music
Drown out my sobs
And the tears I cry at night
Replace being close to God
I never thought
It would come to this
I'm confused and alone
In the middle and *****
I can't reconnect
With the way that things were
It's gone too far now
I know we're all hurt
And peace is found nowhere
Happiness forever gone
The love we once shared
Will never be so strong
As the time when family matterd
We were closer then
But now, our promises shattered
Things will never be the same
