The Everlasting Cut
The tears slide down her cheeks as visions appear in front of her eyes...
Cuts are on his arms; blood drips down and off his fingers Again he raises the razor He tries to hide a grimace as he digs the blade into his arm over and over Switching hands he begins to destroy his dominate arm But the hand that now holds the treacherous tool is weak and trembly from the loss of blood After a few more cuts he drops the razor and lays his head in his hands ignoring the blood that soaks his dark hair His shoulders start to quiver from the sobbing battle....
Numbly she reaches out, yearning to hold him in her arms...
The vision shifts and he's on the ground not breathing A dark puddle grows steadily...
She gasps, panicking and shakes her head vigoriously The teacher gazes at her with much concern She smiles convincingly and forces herself back to reading The wishing of a cell phone betrays and kills her She is helpless and wills the clock to hurry with it's cycle The voice inside her screams for her to get up but she commands the struggle to last knowing no hope of contacting him Again she sees herself rise and walk out to escape the overwelming silence But she does not move seemingly paralyzed She stares into space without taking things in She sits and continues to witness the terrifying images.
