Can I kiss you?

Contributed by country_girls_angel on Friday, 8th July 2005 @ 10:48:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Can I kiss you in the morning
When the sun begins to rise
A soft caress so featherlight
Upon your sleeping eyes

If for a moment just to wake you
While I watch sunlight on your face
To start each day so heavenly
Wrapped tight in your embrace

Can I kiss you in the daytime
Oh how I love your charm
Perhaps as we walk down the street
As lovers do, arm in arm

If for a moment just to show you
You are all I'm thinking of
And how my world looks ever brighter
Knowing that I have your love

Can I kiss you in the evening
Can my lips become more bold
Should I surrender to these feelings
When passion fire takes hold

If for a moment just to please you
Give to you my soul and more
To take you with me to the stars
Where we would stay forevermore

So my love...
Can I kiss you?
