Soothe the Burn

How can I be myself? I don't know who I am. How can I believe in life? I don't know where I stand.
Endless wandering... Forever wondering... Don't know who or what I am.
Ceaseless craving... Constant raving... Don't want to be what I have been.
If I could look through your eyes How would I appear? If I could use your ears to listen what else could I hear?
Restless dreaming... Mental screaming... Can't seem to handle the pain of today.
Death - rehearsal... Life reversal... Seeing the anguish in a whole new way.
If I could read between my lines, I wonder what I'd learn. How can I ever find peace using fire to soothe the burn?

Great write...I think you and I must have similar writing styles or something, because I can relate to your poem so much even though you leave your poem quite open for interpretation. My favourite poems are the ones left open to interpretation..Great job, keep it up
