Through the eyes of a child

Topic: Lifepoems

Through the eyes of a child

Through the eyes of a child
Everything is so bright
Through the eyes of a child
Everything is so clean
Through the eyes of a child
Everything is so new
Through the eyes of a child
Everything is so simple
Blue is blue
On is on
Off is off
Time does not matter
Truth is all there is
The sky is blue
The grass is green
Words are simple
The world is small
Through the eyes of a child
Life is grand
Through he eyes of a child
Life is grand
Through the eyes of a child
The world is small
Through the eyes of a child
Life is grand
Through the eyes of a child
The world is an adventure
What ever happened to that child?
What ever happened to belief?
What ever happened to us?
Its time to see the world through those eyes
It's time to see the world a new.

Dear Demon,
And then we are changed. We learn to lie because we are afraid, and we learn bad habits from those around us, and we pick up their prejudices, etc. Yes, if we could all just remain small children , with high intelligence....then this would be a very good world to live in. Little children are also very forgiving...
I really enjoyed your poem, Demon. It spoke the truth and it was beautifully written too!
Warm Poetic Love,
lovingcritters
