I have died ten times over
For time it seems is against me
And all I can do is breathe
Im alone to face the reality
That life is life and love is love
Yet all I can do is breathe
Im sick of craving my evil pain
And spiraling down into nothingness
Though all I can do is breathe
I go on gradually and in torment
Waiting for deaths hand to take me
Knowing sadly all I can do is breathe
Just Breathe

| I like how you tied the poem together with the repetition of the line '...all I can do is breathe'. This is an excellent base line for expressing the pain and torment in the poem. Keep posting! |
