Do You Know How I Feel?
My heart races as I hear the music
It helps rock me to sleep at night
And when you tell me that special fraze
I still go weak at the knees
Do you know how I feel?
With long debates I wait to call
I might interrupt what ever you're doing
You tell me that it's okay
But I just can't help wondering if there's something else
Do you know how I feel?
Thinking about when we'll first meet
Knowing a smile will play across my lips
Wondering if you'll be the same
Hoping it's not something I'll have to test
Do you know how I feel?
Butterflies still dance in my stomache
Each time I hear your words of reserve
With the knowledge of your steady breath beside me
The pain seemingly evaporates
Do you know how I feel?

| i love this poem. it is very refreashing to see someone confess their love instead of keeping it inside. im currently writing a poem dealing with this same kind of issue. |
