I Will Search Forever

Contributed by AmyLee4Ever on Monday, 11th July 2005 @ 11:49:08 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Theres something that Im missing
I feel it lurking here
Im not just reminiscing
Its taking over me

Im held up by my glass legs
Will they shatter?
Im hidden by my own pain
Can you find me?

Searching for something that Ive lost
Im too far under
I dont have one chance for mending
Im torn asunder
I know now what I have become
A lonely blunder

My screams are ready to begin
Do you hear them from within?
I know youre out there to be found
But something has kept me bound
Im broken, which I know you see
I can hear you cry for me
Though youre so close I know its true
Ill never get to see you

This isolated world of mine
Is not all I bear
For so long Ive been forgotten
Living with despair
The next thing I hold so close
I cannot see there

Is what I feel really there?
Could this be fake?
I can feel all that I lack
I know its near

I do not know what you are
I do know I need you
Youve left an eternal scar
And Ill search forever

I like you poem because I've also searched for that something out there for me. Something to do with my life and someone to love.
