i tried to write a love song
for your heart to only hear
I tried to put in words
the love I hold so dear
i tried to write a love song
about an everlasting kiss
I couldn't write it down
cuz you can't describe pure bliss
i tried to write a love song
about the warmth of your hug
but i can't put into words
the feeling of the arms of love
I tried to write a love song
to give you my heart forever
but all I can say is that i'll never leave,
that is my endeavor

Aww, I found this very sweet and endearing.
If you would capitalize your i's and take out "cuz" and replace with because or something along those lines I think it would make it even more outstanding.
It is good and very nice to read.
