dark raindrops hit the earth
mark the path ahead of me
the pounding of the rain
mixes with the pounding of my feet
as i run away from my past mistakes
i cannot take life by the handle anymore
it has put far too much at stake
and throught the silent woods i run
praying to find a way
and as they go unanswered
my feet i have run raw
throught the silence of the night
the frost will never thaw
blazing iceness cuts at my body
leaving a mangeled runner at deaths feet
clawing at the pathways
falling to her feet
sliding down the icy trail
that has forever been left unkempt
seeking peace eternally
but passing days have spent
hours falling in dark decay
and sindging secrets myths
of life untold a fairys breath
to make runners live betrayed
