Too Far

Nothing's wrong,
it's just a scar.
That's all I did;
I didn't go that far.
It's not that deep,
it hardly bled,
everything's fine,
I'm not yet dead.
The pain was quick,
I didn't flinch,
There were no tears,
it felt like a pinch.
So I pick up the knife,
and do it again,
then I close my eyes,
as I count to ten.
I peirce my skin
as I begin to cut,
3..4..5..
my eyes are still shut.
6..7..
I start to cry,
the knifes getting deeper,
I dont want to die.
The blood starts to pour,
I can't feel my wrist.
I start to realize
how much I'll be missed.
Mom, im so sorry,
I love you, dad
and when Im gone,
please dont be sad.
8...9..
I'm getting all dizzy,
theres blood all around me,
my visions now fizzy.
I open my eyes,
now I'm at ten,
I shouldn't have picked
that knife up again.
Now I lay here,
from a cut so deep,
and it looks as if
im in a deep sleep.
The pains gone away,
and everythings dark,
and now im dead,
because of this mark.
My life has now ended
and this mark will soon scar,
because this time,
I went too far.
