It will be frozen smiles On guarded faces And forced, unnatural laughter Because its been a while
Therell be crackers and cheese And welcomes all round Because were scared and unsure And trying so hard to please
Well hide the hesitation And the insecurities And well play happy people In the name of convention
But it might end in smiles On unrestrained faces And warm, lusty laughter It might all be worthwhile
