My Invisible Man

Topic: LovePoetry

Waiting
Anticipating
Seeing your face
Touching your lips
Feeling your hand in mine
Our lips
Touching again

Waiting
Anticipating
For my arrival
Falling in your arms
Staring deep
Into your eyes
Seeing
Feeling
Your love
Your soul
Engulfing me
Once again

Its no fun being away
Being alone
Apart
Wishing I was there
To talk
To whisper
Sexy
Sweet nothings

It all sounds
So
Trite to me
Never thought
I'd be here
Like this
Never thought
My heart
Whould ache
From being apart
From another

But
You stole it
Made me love you
Changed me
In ways you'll never know
Changed my whole existence
From a boi
A lover
Of many beds
Many rooms
Passion in the midst
A party boi
Now into a committed lover
Of you
And only you

And every moment
Here
With family
Really alone
Apart from you
Is toture
That only your touch
Can heal
B/c
You're the invisble man
They can't see
B/c you ain't here

But
The love
Is obvious
In my eyes
My every move
They see it
They see your pressence
In me
They can see
All that has
Changed
In me
A new outlook
And happiness
I just didn't
Have before
That you bestowed upon me
Through each day
And nite
My invisible man.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
