Everything went wrong
Nothings going right
Tears are welling up
Holding back with all my might
When I needed you
You werent there
Guess I was right
You just dont care
Drinking every night
Promises left broken
Tension in the air
Words left unspoken
I cant do this anymore
Taking all the blame
You taking the glory
And me taking the shame
I kicked you out
But somehow you came back
Somewhere down the line
My life went off track
My eyes cant cry anymore
Not sure I want you here
Saying you are going to quit
As you drink another beer

BUT NOONE CAN HELP THEMSELVES .. YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO HELP.

I felt each word thats what makes poetry special to me.
I know its hard but anything you do is pointless an alcoholic needs to help themselves you cant change them and noone else can until they are willing to ake the first move and take the step towards being sober trust me Iv lived this many years I know and it wasnt until they were willing before there was a cease in the alcohol and drug abuse
