she blinks sleepily windows to her soul painted the chocolate of a decadent dessert- how many times Ive felt the pleasure of blonde running through my hands a comfort, a prayer
those nicks on her wrists what lie did she feed you to explain all those weak moments away? blame what she will but nothing warms me like truth off her lips she feels safe laying it all bare on the ground she lets me hold her and I let her cry
darkened car flashes of red and neon signs and signals she shook and gasped air around pain my arms around her shoulders as I sang along with the radio hed bled her again and I was right there
she called me again and it wasnt enough I want to hold her close and keep her there whisper I love you and run my hand through that golden hair
what is a friendship without the embrace that keeps you near?

You combine imagery and emotion so well in this write. Like looking at a painting and feeling like you are there.
Greatly written, i enjoy your writes. |
