i can't stand the way
i look today
i want to reshape my outline
to better suit my liking
i can't stand the way
nothing looks right
a feeling of disgust washes over my mind
i can't stand the way
tears of frustration are forming under my eyelids
why aren't i better?
suddenly every imperfect aspect of my life
is staring back at me
in my full-length mirror
