My whole world is crumbling
right before my eyes
and there's nothing I can do
but sit here and cry
Why did all this happen?
my stomach has begun to hurt
I've cried so much today
my eyes have begun to burn
It's all gone in an instant
you've left me behind
now I sit here in the dark
as I slowly lose my mind

This was such a sad write. I remember when my first bf broke up with me. It really broke my heart, but somehow i got over it. And i know you will too. It may take time but you'll get there.

| Such a strong and sad write here, Brenna. That breakup must have been hard, and hopefully this poem was a little cathartic, as I'm sure you've pulled through by now. Your emotions always show through your work, and it's good to see this kind of expression and ability in you. Excellent stuff Brenna! : ) |
