Oh dear
I fear
Attack
From the back
Friendly fire
Must rewire
Regain our senses
Lower our defenses
Remember we are friends
Until the very end
We are Marines
Who travel unseen
Always faithful
Never ungrateful
Our charge unique
We take the oblique
March into danger
Becoming the stranger
Of another land
And another band
We act without orders
To protect our borders
And to defend our way
We may go astray
But never fear our intensions
We always seek redemption
And answer for our actions
When we cause distractions
Now unite young rebel
And adjust that treble
So the voice we hear
Comes through quite clear
Tell them we shall stand
And guard this land
From any aggressor
Greater or lesser

| i love the message in this and like that you took the time to write about it. although i felt that it ended abruptly...i was expecting it to ease into the ending more..anyways i liked it. good write! |
