What Were You Thinking
What were you thinking
You made up rumors about me
To make yourself feel better
About losing the best you ever had
You told your friends that I cheated
When you cheated us
Cheated us of what we could have had
Of what we could have been
You didnt think it through
You just opened your mouth
And began to ruin everything
You tried to feed me lies
Telling me it was true and genuine
I think you forgot
How well I knew you
I could see through your excuses
And your attempts at deception
Like they were a transparent ghost
Were you even thinking at all
You could have had the decency
To pull your knife out of my back
After you twist it and add salt
You have destroyed everything we were
I will never understand
But Im working on it
Because everyday
I pray that your face will soon fade away
Im moving on but
Ill never know
What you were thinking
