dawn

Contributed by lostrelic on Saturday, 16th July 2005 @ 01:26:17 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

crawling on my knees hiding my eyes
the shock to the system the pain i cant hide
feeling so weak you have punctured my mind
the cruelness about you never to kind
alone and lost feeling my way
waiting the end of this terriable day
you told me i lied and dont know what love means
listening to you just makes me scream
weak and abused i followed your advice
i ran to the nearest drug filled vice
a bottle of vodka and a empty jar of pills
we will see who gets the thrills
this light at the tunal is fire for me
as long as my soul will finally be free
they say death doesnt help it kills the ones you care
but alone i am my spirit is bare
eyes falling fast this grip i cant hold
my body is weak i start to fold
death take me now and to hell may i go
boating the river styx there i will row
i hit the floor my mind seems to calm
i never will see the first light of dawn

So very sad that you would think you would have to go to this extreme. No one is worth your life. Your words in this poem captivating and your imagery perfect. Lets put some cheer in this excellent write
